Justice for Every Detainee
We believe every person held in immigration custody deserves a federal court to examine the legality of that detention, regardless of their circumstances or the size of their case.
Our Mission & Our Firm
We are committed to helping clients navigate civil legal matters across the nation, from Miami courtrooms to federal habeas proceedings wherever a person is unlawfully detained.
Lead Attorney
David S. Harris has been a practicing attorney since 1997, bringing nearly three decades of legal experience to every case he handles. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, and furthered his legal education at Georgetown Law School.
David is admitted to practice before the Florida Bar and the Washington D.C. Bar, and is authorized to appear in federal court in the Southern District of Florida, the Middle District of Florida, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
Recognized by Miami New Times as Attorney of the Year, David has dedicated his practice to fighting for individuals facing powerful institutions, recovering results for thousands of clients at no upfront cost.
What We Stand For
We believe every person held in immigration custody deserves a federal court to examine the legality of that detention, regardless of their circumstances or the size of their case.
Our attorneys concentrate on petitions for writ of habeas corpus and federal civil litigation. We know the statutes, the case law, and the courts, inside and out.
We treat every client as an individual, not a case number. Families get clear communication at every stage of the petition, in plain language.
David S. Harris has fought for individuals against powerful institutions for nearly three decades, recognized by Miami New Times as Attorney of the Year.
